Update - Elderly Male Missing has been Located

Delta Police File 2022-22172

UPDATE October 2nd 08:58 am:

(Name Removed) has been located several blocks away from his home.  He is tired and cold, but otherwise in good spirits and condition.  Thank you to all who helped look for (Name Removed), including our partner agencies, SAR, Coast Guard, Whatcom County resources, as well as the general public.

On October 1st, 2022 the Delta Police Department launched an investigation to locate missing person (Name Removed), missing from the area of 2nd Avenue and 65B Street.  (Name Removed) failed to return home from his regular 9pm walk in the Boundary Bay area of Tsawwassen.  (Name Removed) is described as a 78 year old Caucasian man, 6’3” tall with a medium build, with white hair, and a white beard.  (Name Removed) was wearing plaid pajamas, tan slippers, and a black fleece jacket.  He has no cell phone, car, or money on him.  Investigators are concerned (Name Removed) may have become disoriented and has been unable to find his way home.  If you see (Name Removed), investigators request you stay with him and contact the DPD at (604)946-4411 and request an officer attend to assist to help him. If you live in the Boundary Bay area, we also ask that you check your property, sheds, yards and cars in an effort to locate (Name Removed). South Fraser Search and Rescue personnel are attending the area to conduct a full search, should you see increased activity in the area.
