About the team

Constable Mike Tegart is currently the dedicated Liaison Officer for the Tsawwassen First Nation.

Cst Tegart works in partnership with the TFN’s Health and Social Services Staff. Often teamed up with an Outreach worker or Social Worker, Cst Tegart is able to provide policing services through a more trauma informed lens, offering support and resources.

To assist Cst Tegart with matters related to Justice, Cst Tegart maintains a working relationship with an officer from BC Probation and with a Crown Counsel Member from the Surrey Courthouse. Together, alternatives to criminal Justice and enforcement are discussed, ensuring traditional methods are honoured and respected
