Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision 

Delta, BC – The Delta Police are currently on scene investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision involving several vehicles. Ladner Trunk Road is closed between 96 Street and Highway 91 and is expected to remain closed for several hours while the Collision Investigation Team conducts its investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Just after 3:00 p.m., Delta Police responded to a report of a multi-vehicle collision in the 9800 block of Ladner Trunk Road. Four vehicles were involved, with multiple occupants.

Five people were transported to hospital with injuries. Sadly, despite the lifesaving efforts of first responders, one adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators are working to determine the factors that contributed to the collision.
