Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision
Delta, BC – The Delta Police Department is investigating a serious single-vehicle collision involving a truck that occurred early this morning.
On June 12, 2026, at approximately 05:30 am, Delta Police responded to a report of a pick-up truck off the roadway in the waterfilled ditch in the 5200 block of 88th street.
Unfortunately, the sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
The Delta Police will remain on scene for the next several hours while conducting their investigation.
Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage around the area of Burns Drive and 88th Street between 04:00 and 05:30 hours, is asked to contact the Delta Police at 604-946-4411.
