Shooting Incident – 11200 Block 78B Avenue, Delta

 

 
Delta, BC – On October 26th, at approximately 2:43 am, the Delta Police Department (DPD) responded to a report of a possible shots fired into a residence in the 11200 block of 78B Ave. DPD officers arrived on scene and located shell casing and confirmed several shots into the residence. The residence was occupied at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured.


CCTV shows a suspect getting out of a white SUV and fire multiple shots into the residence before fleeing the scene. 

 

Preliminary Investigation indicates this to be a targeted incident and related to an extortion investigation. Investigators will be liaising with police partners and the Provincial Extortion Task Force to determine if there are any links to other files. 

 

DPD officers will be conducting door-to-door canvassing in the area. Investigators are seeking any information or video footage around the time of the incident.
