Targeted Shooting in North Delta

The Delta Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that occurred this afternoon at approximately 5:45 pm. 82nd Avenue between 110th Street and 112th Street remains closed due to the investigation.
Investigators believe this shooting was a targeted incident related to the BC Gang Conflict. Suspects have left the area and there is no ongoing risk to the public.
One person has been transported to hospital and is receiving treatment for injuries related to the shooting.
No further information will be released this evening, as the investigation is in its early stages.
