Shooting in North Delta

On June 11^th, 2023, at approximately 11:15 pm, the Delta Police Department responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 11800 block of 80^th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers learned that an unknown suspect had fired a firearm during the dispute.  A short time later, one person arrived at a local hospital with a minor gunshot wound.  The person has since been treated and released from hospital with a minor injury.

The motive for the disturbance and shooting has not been identified.

Investigators will be in the area today to conduct witness and video canvasses.
