Missing Person to Locate
Delta, BC – The Delta Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating 29-year-old Ryan BAINS.
On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the Delta Police began a missing person investigation after BAINS left his family residence in North Delta shortly before 8:00 a.m. Family members reported him missing after they were unable to contact him for several hours.
The investigation has revealed that BAINS parked his vehicle on Annacis Island and began walking toward the Alex Fraser Bridge at approximately 8:20 a.m. on August 2, 2026.
BAINS is described as a 29-year-old South Asian male, 6'1" tall, with an athletic build, short black hair, facial stubble, and brown eyes. At the time he was last seen, BAINS was wearing black pants and a black t-shirt.
Investigators are seeking witnesses or dash camera footage from anyone who travelled over the Alex Fraser Bridge on August 2, 2026, between 8:20 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., when Ryan's unoccupied vehicle was located by police.
