Dennison Park Fire Deemed Suspicious

Delta, BC – June 5, 2024 – An early morning Tsawwassen fire on May 17th, 2024, has been declared suspicious.  A building used to store athletic gear and equipment was destroyed by the fire.  The investigation to date has not identified anyone responsible for this fire.

The Delta Police Department (DPD) is urging any witnesses who may have observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of Dennison Park to come forward. Additionally, we ask anyone with video footage from security cameras, dash cams, or mobile devices between 3 and 4:30 am on May 17th near Dennison Park, to share your video with our investigative team. Your cooperation is vital in helping us determine the cause of this fire and the identity of anyone who may be responsible for it.
