Volunteer Programs

The Delta Police Department appreciates the energy, time and commitment given by our many volunteers. Without their assistance the Delta Police would not be in a position to provide the wide number of programs and safety initiatives currently underway.

Did you know?

• There are over 150 volunteers working in the Delta Community Police Stations
• In 2009, our Victim Service volunteers contributed over 5,300 hours of service to the program and provided support to over 900 victims and witnesses of crime.
• 20 Reserve constables assist in a variety of ways including bike patrols with other CoPs volunteers
