If you have been a victim of a fraud committed in Delta please call 604.946.4411 and make a report.   If the crime occurred outside Delta, in another part of Canada, or you have been the recipient of an unsolicited marketing or advanced fee mailing that you suspect is fraud, please report it to the following agencies:

  • PhoneBusters - the central agency in Canada that collects information on telemarketing, advanced fee fraud letters and identity theft complaints.

The information collected is disseminated to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and is a valuable tool in evaluating the effects of various types of fraud on the public. It also helps to prevent future similar crimes from taking place. PhoneBusters is a joint operation between the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Ontario Provincial Police.

  • RECOL - Reporting Economic Crime Online is an Royal Canadian Mounted Police initiative that involves an integrated partnership between International, Federal and Provincial Law Enforcement agencies, as well as with regulators and private commercial organizations that have a legitimate investigative interest in receiving complaints of economic crime.
